Thunder Egg Pair B. This piece is cut and the faces have been polished while the back sides is in its natural condition. Each side is about 2.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1 inches thick. This is a beautiful piece from an old collection. It was collected near Madras, Oregon. Thunder Eggs are formed in gas pockets of lava flows. They start as geodes that fill completely with agatized material.
