Stromatolite Slab From Morocco 03 With Stand

This Stromatolite slab #03 is about 4.5 inches x 3 inches and about .25 inch thick. Both sides have been cut showing off the layers of the specimen. It is easy to see the many layers of the fossil. It also shows the layered formation in its rough textured appearance. A rare example of one of earth's earliest life forms from the Ediacaran Period and is about 600 million years old.
