Description
This Stromatolite fossil F is about 3.5 inches across and 3 inches wide and 2 inches thick. The pictured side is the natural lumpy and bumby surface of the stromatolite. These fossil stromatolites are from Wyoming and are about 1.7 billion years old. Stromatolites are some of the oldest fossils on earth. They are the first organisms to produce oxygen theough photosynthisis.
