These Stromatolites come from the Ouarzazate area of Morocco. They are reletively young as stromatolites go a mere 600 million years. That makes them an Ediacarian fossil. Those are hard to come by! These have all been cut on at least one side to show the layers and the purple and white layers of this geo-biologic rock.
