"This piece of Malachite X is made of small fibrous crystals and is a little over an inch long. It is in its natural state. Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral with the Chemical formula: Cu 2 [(OH) 2 ]CO 3 , copper carbonate.It is a beautiful green color and is associated with copper ore. This specimen comes from the Democratic Republic of The Congo.
