This Fossil Leaf is Salix cockerelli 08.01 a type of willow. It is from the Eocene epoch and is about 48 million years old. It was found in the Green River formation from Unitah County, Utah. The fossil measures about 1 5/8 inches long on a matrix that is 2.5 x 1.75 inches.
