Hematite Rough

Hematite Rough Hematite is iron oxide. Its chemical formula is Fe₂O₃. All forms of hematite have a red streak. It is 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. It has a metallic luster and is sometimes used to make jewelry. Hematite is mined as an iron ore.
