Halite Speciminen

"Halite is also known as rock salt. The chemical formula is NaCl or Sodium Chloride. It forms when saltwater evaporates. Halite normally forms perfect cubes, look at ordinary table salt with a magnifying glass. Halite can be clear or have a pink cast to it. The pink color comes from bacterial debris that has been trapped in the salt crystals.
