"This Gray Megalodon Tooth U 4.5 inch complete is in fair condition. The enamel is in good condition but the tip is worn down. The bourolette is mostly worn off. The serrations are present but mostly worn away. The root has some slight damage visible on the front of the tooth by some boring animal, there is a small bore hole on the back side of the root as well. Carcharocles Megalodon was the largest shark ever! This tooth was found near Wilmington, North Carolina. It is about 4 to 7 million years old putting it in the Early Pliocene or Late Miocene Epoch of the Neogene Period."
