Gary Green Jasper is a beautiful multi hued green jasper that comes from near McDermitt, Oregon. Also called Larsonite and Petrified Bog Wood the creation of this mineral appears to be caused by volcanic material covering a forrested area some 10-15 million years ago. The trees petrified over time by taking on the minerals from the volcanic material.
