Gary Green Jasper Slab D with Stand

This polished slab of Gary Green Jasper D is a 5 inches X 4 inches and about 1/4 inches thick. This beautiful multi hued green jasper comes from near McDermitt, Oregon.  Also called Larsonite and Petrified Bog Wood the creation of this mineral appears to be caused by volcanic material covering a forrested area some 10-15 million years ago. The trees petrified over time by taking on the minerals from the volcanic material.
