Sea Urchins belong to the class Echinodermata. They are related to star fish and sand dollars. They have spines that serve not only as protection but can also move to walk the animal across the ocean floor. This fossil sea urchin is from the Jurassic Period, approximately 150 million years ago. It was found in Morocco.
