Description
This Edmontosaurus Tooth is from Edmontosaurus annectens and is about 3/8 inches long. It is from the Cretaceous Period and was found in the Hell Creek Formation in Zeibach County, South Dakota. Edmontosaurus was a duckbill or Hadrosaur that lived near the end of the Cretaceous Period. They could grow to a length of about 49 ft. Their chewing teeth were arranged on plates with hundreds of teeth on each side of the jaw.
