Carcharodontosaurus Tooth N
Description
This Carcharodontosaurus Tooth is in very good condition. The serrations are present on both edges of the tooth. The enamel is excellent except for the missing part at the bottom as seen in the photo. The back side is similar to the fromt side.. This 100 Million year old dino tooth is 2 inches long.
Carcharodontosaurus could grow to be 45 feet long from nose to the tip of his thick tail. It could weigh up to 8 tons. The massive head sported powerful jaws of giant teeth. The teeth were sharp, with serrated edges and up to 8 inches long! It was related to allosaurus. This tooth is from the Cretaceous period and is about 100 million years old. It was found in Morocco, North Africa
