"This specimen was found in Morocco. It is about 5 x 3 x 2 inches. It is mostly malachite with some azurite coated on a matrix. Azurite is a deep blue carbonate mineral associated with copper deposits. The chemical formula is Cu₃ (Co₃)₂(OH)₂ . It has been used as a pigment since anchient times.
