"This Madagascar ammonite E has been cut in half and polished. The beauty of this ammonite comes from the agate that has filled in the chambers a dark brown. Each chamber is seperated by a white septa. As the ammonite grows it enlarges its shell and moves forward and creates the septa to wall off the old living space. Each half of the ammonite is between 6 and 7 centimeters across. You will receive both halves as pictured here."
